There's still little stupider than someone calling themselves Fetty Wap. It's not so much that this sounds atrocious (although one of what I assume is a Remy Boyz sounds awful), but more that it reminds me of something that sounds atrocious. My brain keeps thinking Freaxxx but I'm unwilling to listen to that to verify. |

I can't even explain this. I just love this right now.<br><br>What is it about it that I like? The beat? Yes, but I'm not sure I would put it all down to that. But I'm still not able to really explain it all that well. When I figure out what it is, I'll edit this review and add it in, but there is a good chance that that will never happen, because sometimes I never figure these things out.<br><br>Anyway, I prefer this over "Trap Queen", meaning this will probably take the crown over that for my "Guilty Pleasure of 2015".<br><br>Pushing for a 5* rating if I hear it more.<br><br>4.5* |

Hm, irgendwie finde ich seine Rap-Art auch noch recht hörbar. Nicht mein Genre zwar und der Titel ist auch etwas schwächer als "Trap Queen", aber dennoch finde ich ihn wohl besser als die meisten hier. Knapp keine 4. |

Notes:<br><br>-'9' to signify being born in 1991 is dumb to me<br>-Incidentally, I have an easier time remembering that part of the date because my Australian eyes naturally read 6/7 as the 6th of July<br>-I assume this version wasn't included on the album because Monty really wanted to show up Joe Fox as the rapper no one cares about who gets the most verses on a major album release in 2015<br>-I find it interesting that Fetty Wap ONLY does the hook in this song; Asta does more in "Dynamite"!<br><br>Out of being accustomed to it, this is the version I prefer. P-Dice's verse isn't as memorable as Monty's (aside from 'she a Remy girl so I gon' pursue her), but it feels more right to me. His verse also has the nice sentiment that he's going to spoil the girl, which is an amusing contrast to Fetty just wanting to have the remote from "Click" so he can keep checking out dat ass.<br><br>That being said, I imagine in a year's time, all I'm going to remember is 'I got a glock in my 'rari' and 'I got this sewed up/soda'. I'm glad it was a hit though. It's obviously not as iconic, but it's had far more staying power for me than "Trap Queen" |
