Catchy, harmless fun. It might sound a bit like Raise Your Glass but it's not Reece's fault. A trillion times better than Somewhere in the World at least. |

It's pretty good, obvious rip-off of 'Raise Your Glass' as stated. But as we know, that went 4x platinum, so why not follow a winning formula I guess? It's always fun when the winner's single isn't a generic ballad. |

I hear the real reason Nova decided not to do an iTunes countdown in 2014 was that they'd have to end up playing this track. Considering X Factor showed capability to produce not-awful tracks in the future, this is especially embarrassing. 1.8

I first heard Reece Mastin while casually watching X Factor the night he performed "I Kissed A Girl". It's a song I hated a lot anyway so it's not like it was going to enjoy Reece's rendition much, if at all. But wow that cover was just so woeful. Even worse than the original. Anyway I hated him from that point in time and knew he was going to win, despite how awful he is. <br><br>That brings us to this. I love "Raise Your Glass" and don't like the fact that the sound of that was basically carbon copied in making this. But that's not the biggest bother, as Reece's vocal performance on this is absolutely woeful and one of the worst, if not the worst vocal effort on an ARIA #1 ever. Of course it was destined to go #1 now matter how crap it was, but I still detest that it was such a success. Not the worst thing he's done but by gosh it's still catastrophically awful over 3 years later. That 13 week period where this and "Sexy And I Know It" were #1 was just dire and I hope nothing near as awful happens near the top of the charts again.
